12.2.6. Policy for Minimisation of Disposable Items

UNRAM issued Rector Decree Number 10 year 2022 as a foundation to waste management in Article 8. The article stated on how to manage garbage such as:

• Encourages the usage of reusable or biodegradable materials and discourages single-use plastics in campus activities

1. 1. Minimise the usage on campus of unnecessary plastic packaging
   2. Avoid the use of single-use plastics in campus activities

• Use materials/ products labeled with biodegradable materials

• Use products with information on how to use, to keep, and after use them

• Encourage the use of reuse materials

The commitment is implemented by providing food using reusable materials instead of providing them in a paper/plastic lunch box.
